This is a 40 minute symphony, composed as part of the composer's MusB portfolio. There are 4 movements, Moderato, Scherzo (Allegro molto), Andante, Passacaglia (con moto, alla breve).

Several orchestral interludes from this full length opera have been performed as concert items: these include the Prelude, the Soldiers' Song, the interlude after the storm (between scenes 5 & 6), the Passacaglia, and the Interlude (between scenes 7 & 8) and finale.

This impressive prelude is based on the Lent prose (Hear us, O Lord, have mercy upon us). It was composed for a concert by the Marlborough cnncert band ('Brasser') in Salisbury Cathedral (in 1984), and was again played there on a later occasion.

This is a four-movement work for string orchestra, first performed as part of the Yorkshire Composers Festival in St Bede's Church Leeds in 1999 conducted by the composer. The movements are Allegretto, Scherzando, Andante and Allegro moderato.

 This is a twenty minute cantata for baritone solo, chorus and small orchestra (flute, horn, trumpet and strings). The words are by Shakespeare (from As you like it) with an introduction and epilogue setting a poem by Hardy. It was commissioned for the 60th birthday concert of the Otley Choral Society. It is published by Barry Jordan Music (BJM).
